Checking Your Fax Transmission History with Samsung Network PC Fax

In modern office environments, the ability to send faxes directly from a computer via network-shared printers is crucial for efficiency. Samsung Network PC Fax provides a robust solution, allowing users to send documents without printing them first. To ensure reliable communication, tracking sent faxes is essential.

Samsung Network PC Fax maintains a dedicated Fax Transmission History, which acts as a log for all operations, ensuring you can verify if a document was successfully transmitted. Here is how to check your transmission history. Accessing the Fax Transmission History Log

Open the Start Menu: On your Windows PC, click on the Start menu. Navigate to Programs: Go to Programs or All Programs.

Locate Samsung Printers: Find and click on the Samsung Printers folder.

Open Transmission History: Select Fax Transmission History. A window will appear listing all recently sent faxes, including status details. Utilizing the Transmission History Window

Within the Fax Transmission History window, you can view key details about your sent faxes, such as: Recipient Information Date and Time of transmission Status (Success or Error) Document Name

If you need physical or automated proof of transmission, you can configure the Samsung printer to print reports automatically. Press the Fax button on the physical printer.

Press the Menu button until Fax Setup displays, then press OK. Navigate to Sending, then press OK.

Select Send Report and configure it to “On” (reports every fax) or “On-Error” (only reports failures).

Note: You can also enable “Image TCR” to include a reduced image of the faxed document on the report.

By utilizing the Fax Transmission History on your PC and setting up confirmation reports on the printer, you can ensure your documents reach their destination accurately.
